| Rental property in Kill Devil Hills. The salty air and dry salt particles carried by the wind accelerate the corrosion process, that was the reason why all the siding nails get rusty and started to create stains on the paint. We removed the paint, sanded the head of all the nails, then we sealed with an anticorrosion product, and at last we sanded again. For the painting we first primed every single stain with rust resistant primer and then we painted the house in pink and the trim in white, a lot of work but the result was amazing. Advice: Choose your nails wisely. |
